How to Remove Your XPeng Wipers - Service Mode

Applies to: XPeng G6, XPeng G9, XPeng P7

Need to reach the wipers on your XPeng? Some models use service mode. Others let you lift the wiper arms straight from the windscreen. Use the steps below for the models listed here.

How to Access Your XPeng Wiper Blades

1. On the main touchscreen navigate to Vehicle Settings → Maintenance → Wiper Service Mode.
   
2. Activate wiper service mode through the settings menu.
   
3. The wipers will move to a vertical service position.
   
4. You can now change the blades.
   
5. Deactivate wiper service mode through the same settings menu to return the wipers to normal position.

Just one quick check

XPeng uses a touchscreen controls to wiper service mode consistent with its design. The stalk-based sequences used on conventional vehicles may not apply. The exact menu path may vary between software versions, XPeng vehicles receive regular over-the-air software updates that can change menu structures.
