How to Access Your Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Wiper Blades
T7 Multivan (2022 onwards - MQB car platform)
- Switch your auto wiper feature to manual mode.
- Turn your car off.
- Immediately hold the wiper stalk DOWN for about 3 seconds.
- The wipers will lift to a service position.
- You can now change the blades.
- To return: turn the car on and activate the wipers once.
T6.1 Transporter and Caravelle (traditional platform)
- Turn the car off.
- The T6.1 Transporter wipers rest on the glass and can typically be lifted directly without a service mode sequence.
- Lift the wiper arm away from the windscreen carefully.
- Replace blades.
- Return the wiper arm to the glass.
Just one quick check
The T7 Multivan from 2022 uses the MQB car platform and follows the VW Golf service mode sequence. The T6.1 Transporter and Caravelle from the traditional commercial platform typically have wipers accessible directly without a service mode sequence. The California is available on both platforms depending on generation.
