How to Remove Your Suzuki Wipers - Service Mode

Applies to: Swift (2017+), Vitara (2015+), S-Cross (2022+), Ignis (2016+), Jimny (2018+), Swace

On many Suzuki models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.

How to Activate Suzuki Wiper Service Mode

  1. Turn your car off.
  2. Within 10 seconds, pull the wiper stalk towards you to the wash position and hold for about 3 seconds. The wipers should lift to an accessible position.
  3. You can now change the blades.
  4. To return: turn the car on and activate the wipers once.

Just one quick check

Many Suzuki models including the Swift, Ignis, and Jimny have wipers that rest directly on the glass with no service mode required — simply turn off the vehicle and lift the wiper arm away from the windscreen. If your Suzuki's wipers are hidden beneath the bonnet edge use the sequence above. Enter your registration at wiperz.ie for confirmation of the correct process for your specific model.

Make Sure the Blades Fit
