Applies to: Corsa (F 2019+), Astra (L 2022+), Mokka (2021+), Grandland (2022+), Crossland, Frontera (2024+)
On many Opel models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.
How to Activate Opel Wiper Service Mode
- Switch your auto wiper feature to manual mode using the wiper stalk.
- Turn your car off.
- Immediately hold the wiper stalk DOWN for about 3 seconds. The wipers will lift from beneath the bonnet to a vertical service position.
- You can now change the blades.
- To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and activate the wipers once.
Just one quick check
Modern Opel, Vauxhall, Peugeot and Citroën models often use the same sequence. This guide is for Opel-badged cars sold in Ireland.
