How to Remove Your Mitsubishi Wipers - Service Mode
Share
Applies to: Outlander (2022+), Eclipse Cross (2018+), ASX (2023+), L200
On many Mitsubishi models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.
How to Activate Mitsubishi Wiper Service Mode
- Turn your car off.
- Within 15 seconds, push the wiper stalk upwards to the intermittent or mist position and hold for about 3 seconds. The wipers will move to a service position.
- You can now change the blades.
- To return: turn the car on and activate the wipers once.
Just one quick check
Most Outlander PHEV models built from 2013 to 2021 let you lift the wipers directly from the glass. The newer Outlander may use the sequence above.
