How to Remove Your Lexus Wipers - Service Mode

Applies to: UX (2019+), NX (2022+), RX (2023+), IS (2021+), ES (2019+), RZ (2023+)
On many Lexus models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.
How to Activate Lexus Wiper Service Mode
1. Turn your car on, then turn it off.
2. Push the wiper stalk upwards until the wipers move from beneath the bonnet to a vertical service position.
3. You can now change the blades.
4. To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and push the wiper stalk back down.
Just one quick check
The Lexus sequence differs slightly from Toyota in that it does not use the mist position — a simple upward push of the stalk after turning the car off is sufficient. Hold the stalk upward until you see the wipers begin to move.
Make Sure the Blades Fit
Wiper sizes and fittings can change between versions of the same model. Enter your registration and we'll match your car with the correct front and rear blades.
We’ll also send the fitting video and any service-mode steps your car needs. Open the box and you’re ready to go.
