How to Remove Your Jaguar Wipers - Service Mode

Applies to: XE (2015+), XF (2015+), F-Pace (2016+), E-Pace (2017+), I-Pace (2018+), F-Type

On many Jaguar models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.

How to Activate Jaguar Wiper Service Mode

  1. Turn your car off.
  2. Within 10 seconds, push the wiper stalk upward to the single wipe position and hold for about 3 to 4 seconds. The wipers will lift to a vertical service position.
  3. You can now change the blades.
  4. To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and activate the wipers once.

Just one quick check

Jaguar models with the Pivi Pro infotainment system, fitted to later F-Pace and E-Pace variants from about 2021 onwards, may offer wiper service mode through the vehicle settings menu as an alternative. Navigate to Vehicle → Wipers → Service Mode.

Make Sure the Blades Fit
