How to Remove Your Honda Wipers - Service Mode

Applies to: Civic (2022+), CR-V (2023+), HR-V (2021+), Jazz (2020+), ZR-V (2023+)

On many Honda models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.

How to Activate Honda Wiper Service Mode

  1. Turn your car off.
  2. Within 15 seconds, push the wiper stalk to the mist or intermittent position and hold for about 3 seconds. The wipers will move to a vertical service position.
  3. You can now change the blades.
  4. To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and activate the wipers once.

Just one quick check

Honda service mode varies between models and generations. The Jazz GR from 2020 and the HR-V RV from 2021 use this sequence. The Civic FL1 from 2022 may use a slightly different stalk action depending on the trim level. If in doubt enter your registration at wiperz.ie for confirmation.

Make Sure the Blades Fit

Wiper sizes and fittings can change between versions of the same model. Enter your registration and we'll match your car with the correct front and rear blades.

We’ll also send the fitting video and any service-mode steps your car needs. Open the box and you’re ready to go.
