How to Remove Your Dacia Wipers - Service Mode

Applies to: Sandero, Duster, Jogger, Spring, Bigster

On many Dacia models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.

How to Activate Dacia Wiper Service Mode

1. Turn your car off.
   
2. Within 10 seconds, pull the wiper stalk towards you and hold it for about 3 seconds. The wipers will lift to a vertical service position.
   
3. You can now change the blades.
   
4. To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and activate the wipers once.

Just one quick check

Earlier Dacia models, the original Duster and the pre-2020 Sandero, have wipers that rest on the glass and do not require service mode activation. Simply turn the car off and lift the wiper arm away from the windscreen directly.
