How to Remove Your Citroën Wipers - Service Mode

Applies to: C3 (2017+), C4 (2021+), C5 Aircross (2018+), Berlingo (2018+)

On many Citroën models, the wipers park beneath the bonnet edge. Do not force the arms upwards. Put them into service mode first, then they are easy to reach.

How to Activate Citroën Wiper Service Mode

1. Switch your auto wiper feature to manual mode using the wiper stalk.
2. Turn your car off.
   
3. Immediately hold the wiper stalk DOWN for about 3 seconds. The wipers will lift to a vertical service position.
   
4. You can now change the blades.
   
5. To lower the wipers again, turn the car on and activate the wipers once.

Just one quick check

The 3-second hold timing is important on Citroën models. If you release the stalk too quickly the sequence will not trigger. Hold firmly for a full 3 seconds and wait for the wipers to begin moving before releasing.
